L’ultima edizione dei Game Awards (conosciuti negli anni scorsi come VGA e successivamente come VGX) si è appena svolta in quel di Las Vegas e i curatori dell’importante kermesse videoludica statunitense, come da tradizione, hanno assegnato i loro ambiti premi ai titoli e alle personalità del settore che si sono maggiormente distinte nel corso dell’anno che sta per volgere al termine.
Così come possiamo scoprire sfogliando la lista dei vincitori che trovate a fondo pagina, i voti assegnati in queste settimane dai critici di settore e dagli appassionati di videogiochi di mezzo mondo hanno permesso agli sviluppatori canadesi di BioWare di alzare al cielo l’ambita statuetta del miglior gioco dell’anno grazie al lavoro svolto con il kolossal ruolistico di Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Non meno importanti dei risultati raggiunti dalla sussidiaria nordamericana di Electronic Arts sono poi i successi conseguiti da Nintendo (miglior studio dell’anno) con Mario Kart 8 (miglior racing game e miglior sportivo) e Super Smash Bros. per Wii U (miglior picchiaduro), da Activision e Bungie con Destiny (migliore online e colonna sonora) e da Ubisoft con Far Cry 4 (miglior sparatutto) e Valiant Hearts (miglior narrazione e miglior “titolo impegnato”).
