Come ogni anno, si è svolta in quel di Londra la ventiseiesima edizione dei Golden Joystick Awards, votati dal popolo della rete superando con gli 800.000 partecipanti di quest’anno quelli che hanno contribuito nel 2007.
Mattatrice assoluta dei premi è per quest’anno Activision, che oltre a portarsi a casa il premio come miglior publisher trova in Call of Duty 4 il pigliatutto della situazione, con ben 4 riconoscimenti più uno per il prossimo World at War, in uscita il 14 novembre.
