Harmonix rivela nuovi particolari dell’edizione dedicata agli anni ’80 di Guitar Hero 2 in esclusiva per PlayStation 2 chiamata Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s. Ecco le nuove canzoni svelate:
* “18 and Life” (Skid Row)
* “Bathroom Wall” (Faster Pussycat)
* “Lonely is the Night” (Billy Squier)
* “Nothing But a Good Time” (Poison)
* “Play With Me” (Extreme)
* “Shakin” (Eddie Money)
* “Synchronicity II” (Police)
Harmonix ha anche rivelato che il termine “Encore” indicherà anche in futuro quelle versioni di Guitar Hero che non apporteranno miglioramenti significativi a grafica e comparto tecnico in generale ma si limiteranno ad introdurre nuove canzoni da suonare.
La lista delle tracce già annunciate in precedenza è invece questa:
