L’Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences ha assegnato a Dragon Age: Inquisition il titolo di Game of the Year 2014, insieme naturalmente a tutti gli altri premi dei diciottesimi D.I.C.E. Awards. Nella cerimonia tenutasi a Las Vegas, l’altro trionfatore è stato La Terra di Mezzo: L’Ombra di Mordor, in grado di portarsi a casa 8 dei 9 riconoscimenti per i quali era stato nominato.
Dragon Age: Inquisition era invece in lizza per soli due premi, ma al titolo BioWare come abbiamo detto va il titolo di GOTY. L’Academy ha anche ricordato pionieri dell’industria videoludica come Allan Alcorn, creatoe di Pong, e Ralph Baer, uno dei padri dei videogiochi scomparso a dicembre scorso.
